Shibuya Night & Home Flight (day 10&11) TOKYO

On our last day in Tokyo we packed all day and then went out for a last time shopping round and I found a new bag (I'll show in the haul when I get home). We also went out for food and drinks, starting off at Burger King by our hotel and after the shopping in 109 we went to T.G.I.F in Shibuya. It was super cozy and the drinks were really cheap compared to the ones in Sweden. I didn't try any drinks though, I tried some snacks stuff and a Chocolate Milkshake.
This delicious-looking Mango Coconut Panna Cotta looked good but tasted plain and non-sweet. It wasn't very good.
This is the second drink Gry ordered. It was HUGE. A mojito like this would've costed at least 200kr in Sweden but she got it for ~90kr. Apparently drinks in Japan generally are alcohol weak, but the drinks at T.G.I.F had lots more alcohol in them. Very price worthy.

And now we're at the Narita airport waiting for our flight back home. It's been a super fun journey but I'm looking forward to getting home, seeing my family, friends and boyfriend again.

Here's our breakfast today at the airport! ;)

Venus Fort & Odaiba (Day 9) TOKYO

Today we made a trip to Odaiba, and it took about 40min to get there from city so it was pretty far off. We didn't really have any expectations other than for the interior design, but were pleasantly surprised. This entry will be picture heavy.

Venus Fort is a shopping mall in the man-made island Odaiba right outside of Tokyo. It's designed to look like The streets of Rome and there were two floors with one fake sky. It was incredible and super cool.
Me by this gorgeous fountain.
And also, the sky changed colours during the day from day light to sunset to evening.
This looked sort of like the Moon Kingdom from Sailor Moon. Super pretty! 🌙
My favourite sky was this firey pink sunset.
We started the day by having 'fika' at this super cute cafĂ©.
I had this delicious dessert. It had corn flakes in the bottom with chokolate saus, yum.

After that and looking around we decided to ride the 110m high ferris wheel outside. Only thing was, it was really rainy and windy. And it wasn't until we started going up that we realized it was A FUCKING STORM. It literally sounded like the cart was going to fall down with the wind shaking it and the rain hitting. This is what we looked like going for the top.
After that horrible idea we decided to have dinner and went to this cute and for some reason compleatly empty big italian resturant.
Surprise surprise, I had pizza again.
However this was by far the tastiest (and most expensive) pizza I've had in Japan so far.

And now we're safe and sound back at our cozy hotel.
We found a 100 yen shop in Venus Fort were we bought some last minute souvenirs and personal shopping but I'll show pictures of that in my shopping haul post later.

Extra: I found this in a more expensive shop and it melted my heart, but I decided not to buy it since everyone already thinks I'm a crazy bird lady, lol.

Ikebukuro & Aquarium (Day 8) TOKYO

Today was a much colder day than usual but not windy nor rainy, so a jacket and a cardigan was enough with a t-shirt.
Since both me and Gry are sort of 'finished' with our shopping it was time for some typical tourist-y things. So we decided to visit the Sunshine City Aquarium in Ikebukuro today.
I just love this picture.
The only sad part were the small tanks and spaces for some of the animals.
This was a very talanted but lazy seal.

When we were done it was dark already so we decided to have dinner in town at a pizza place.
Unfortunately, so did lots of people think and we had to wait in line for 45min before we could get to the pizza/pasta buffé.
We paid about 130kr for the buffé and it was really good. They even had dessert pizza like this one with brownies on it. The brownies were tasty but I wouldn't say the rest of the dessert pizza was.

After the dinner we had one last stop at Animate so I could get some more artist supplies. Then we headed back to our hotel.

P.S.... I thought I'd seen most wierd things in Japan but clearly not. Today when I tried on a shirt I had to wear this hat-thing to protect the clothes. Just imagine if we had to wear this everytime we tried something on back in Sweden, haha.
