We got on the airplane from Sweden in Saturday and arrived in Narita airport on Sunday the 12th.
I will keep this entry short since there wasn't really much to do on the first day. We traveled with Finnair and I've never been so pleased with an airplane service. The food was delicious and generous, and the staff very eager to please. Our plane even arrived half an hour early in Narita. That didn't stop us from taking 4 hours to get to our hotel though... We're not very good with geographics. At all.
We visited Ikebukuro while waiting for our room to get ready at the hotel (in Shinjuku). It was a bad move since we both were exhausted, sweaty and in ugly traveling outfits. Also, everything was extreamly crowded that day, so we didn't take any pictures. But we'll probably go back another day, and I'll make sure to take lots then because the area was so pretty and full of life around the Sunshine City area.

The room was a very pleasant surprise since it was actually very big for a japanese hotel room. And we're staying at the 12th floor, so it's super nice! I'll make an entry on the hotel on our last day in Tokyo. Until then, enjoy our room view!
